What is TACSA

You will find that we refer to the term ‘TACSA’ a lot on our website! So, what is it?

TACSA stands for Technology Assisted Child Sexual Abuse – the sexual abuse of children made easier using technology. It is sometimes referred to as online harm.

Some people will use technology to contact children and convince them to meet so they can harm them. However, TACSA is not just a physical attack, it could be someone who convinces a young person into sending them photos that they would not usually share, for example.

We are here to help and have lots of advice for children and young people on these pages so please take a look! Most importantly, there is advice on how to tell someone if this has happened to you.
