Sally O'Donnell TrainerAfter a thirteen-year career at the coal face of the British Criminal Justice System working with some of the most vulnerable and disaffected men, women and children within Prisons, Probation and Youth Offending Teams and going on to manage Homeless Hostels for young people, Sally took a change of direction focusing on young people and safeguarding. Sally went on to spend seven years as an Area Coordinator for the NSPCC managing safeguarding concerns and working directly with children in educational settings, providing safeguarding messages and empowering them to speak out against abuse. Motivated by the experiences in the varied social care settings Sally wanted to focus on being able to provide values-based, relevant, interactive and applied training to those within the sector to upskill the workforce. Sally has gone on to create and deliver training experiences for numerous local and national organisations and provide safeguarding consultancy services across the social care, criminal justice and sporting sectors. Sally is a passionate advocate for the evolving landscape of safeguarding and prides herself on breaking down barriers to safeguarding and making her training as fun and interactive as possible.
