Rhiannon Victim and Survivor Advocate

Rhiannon has personal experience of online grooming and sexual harm following a traumatic experience when she was 13 years old. With the support of the Marie Collins Foundation she gained the confidence to speak publicly and since 2017 Rhiannon has been using her experience to inform professionals by speaking at conferences, events, training programmes and the media. In November 2019 Rhiannon joined the Marie Collins Foundation staff team as the Victim and Survivor Advocate.

Rhiannon has a degree in Law from Manchester Metropolitan University and a post-graduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. In February 2019 she qualified as a lawyer specialising in family law. Rhiannon is currently studying for a masters degree in Child Care Law and Practice at Keele University.
