We have an exciting opportunity for a Training and Development Manager to join our team. The post holder will be responsible for delivering specific projects and programmes in line with the five-year strategic plan to ensure MCF further develops, delivers, and promotes a world class response both nationally and internationally that enables practitioners to improve their service response to child protection and recovery.
We are looking for someone who has experience in the design and delivery of training as well as the design of resources including training packages. You need to have a sound understanding of child sexual exploitation and abuse, safeguarding and related fields. If you care passionately about and advocate for children’s rights, are motivated to work on behalf of children, young people and their families and have excellent communication and presentation skills, we would like to hear from you.
Location: National - This role is primarily home based with occasional time spent in our offices Well, North Yorkshire.
Salary: £30,000 – £37,2000 (Salary band 4)
Working Hours: Full time with opportunity for flexible working and or condensed hours by agreement
Contract type: 12 months fixed term subject to a probationary period of 3 months. The post requires a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

- Training design and delivery experience
- Experience as a practitioner of working with victims of child abuse
- Knowledge and experience of the subject area
- Confidence and competence in using IT
