Safe Online Network Forum (30-31st May 2022)
May 31, 2022
The Safe Online Initiative is organising a Network Forum on 30-31st May 2022 in Brussels, Belgium. The event is a unique opportunity to meet the Safe Online community - over forty grantees from across the world, donors, governments, and industry representatives from the Technology Coalition will be attending. This is the second grantee convening being organised by Safe Online.
Nearly 50 organisations attended the first event in December 2019 in Ethiopia and shared perspectives on creating a safer digital world. The key focus of the upcoming two-day event will be 'networking and knowledge-sharing' across the main areas identified by the grantees, including discussions on best practice to translate evidence into change, cross-sector collaborations, industry role, latest technologies and much more.
The network will spend two-days immersing in the latest evidence, learnings and lessons on what works and what doesn’t work to prevent and respond to online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA) and identifying strategic opportunities and levers to turn the tide on this escalating problem. Grantees will have a unique opportunity to hear the perspectives from over 40 organisations doing ground breaking work to disrupt tech-facilitated harm to children at national, regional and global levels.
