January 10, 2019

Registration is now open for Marie Collins Foundation’s fifth International London Conference: From Discovery to Recovery.

This annual event has gone from strength to strength and provides a unique opportunity for professionals across education, academia, social services, health, police and criminal justice, as well as charities working in child sexual abuse, to come together and share experience, knowledge and best practice.

The conference will take place at the BT Centre, followed by a second day of interactive workshops in the inspirational setting of the BT Tower, both in central London. The dates are Wednesday, 19th June (conference) and Thursday, 20th June (workshops).

Thanks to the generous support of BT, delegate rates have been kept at a highly competitively rate of £75.00 per delegate for two days or £50 for one day. The rate for delegates representing Registered Charities and Non-Governmental Organisations is £50 for two days or £30 pr delegate for one day. All costs are VAT-free and lunch and refreshments are included.

A programme of highly regarded international speakers and workshops is being finalised and more information will be available soon. Last year, 96% of the delegates who completed post-conference evaluation rated it as excellent or very good.

Comments from delegates included:

“Enlightening, thought-provoking, stimulating and informative. A brilliant conference.”

“Really useful – lots to think about and inform my own work.”
“Very inspiring. I come every year and it keeps me motivated to continue my work with young people and their families.”

“It is comforting to see that the Marie Collins Foundation is trying to address the issues of children harmed online and enabling front line practitioners to conduct work with children that is based on relevant research. I will be a regular visitor to the website and will be advertising the charity in the workshops I facilitate.”
